Reuse, Redistribute, Reconnect

Empowering communities through surplus food

For almost 2 decades, we have rescued surplus food, redistributing it for free to hundreds of community groups in Oxfordshire. Rescuing and redistributing food waste is not only good for the environment, but is also an act of solidarity that strengthens and brings communities together. By using surplus food, grassroots groups save money, support hard up families, and create welcoming spaces that tackle loneliness and mental wellbeing.

But real change only happens when we work together.

This is why Oxford Food Hub is launching a campaign to highlight the benefits of using surplus food and to urge everyone, be it the government, businesses and the public, to do more to reduce food waste and support community groups working with surplus food.
